PSU Summer Soccer Day Camp
Designed for Players 6-13 years old, this camp is our general Coed Soccer Day Camp. This camp takes a Player centered approach so players have the luxury of playing their favorite games while learning the game of soccer from our professional and caring PSU coaching staff.
Each day has a different focus which follows the "PSU Training Principles Across the Age Groups :
Monday -Spinning to Evade Pressure + Checking over the Shoulder to gain Awareness
Tuesday - Body position open to field + 1st touch into space
Wednesday - Moving after making a pass + Efficient Play (only taking touches that have a purpose)
Thursday - Immediate pressure when ball is lost + 1st touch defensive win
Friday - Spinning to Evade Pressure + Changing Rhythm of Play (1 touch pass off of dribble)
(Ages 6-13) - 8:30am - 12:30pm/3:30pm
8:15am - 9:15am - Players arrive, are checked in, and are placed into pickup games with coaches and players of their group
9:15am - 9:20am - Coach and kids skills competition representing their groups
9:20am - 10:15am - Focus on the topic of that day
10:15am - 10:45am - Snack, rest in shade and fun non-soccer play (Previous activities included playing in the sprinklers and soccer trivia)
10:45am - 11:30am - Small sided games applying the topic learned in the first session
11:30am - 12:00pm - Shooting Competition
12:00pm - 12:30pm - World Cup (Players pair up and try to score a goal to make it to the next round)
Half Day Players Depart -
Lunch 12:30pm - 1pm
1pm - 2pm - Shooting, finishing, and goalkeeping competitions
Camp Dismissal -- 3pm
PSU is offering the option for parents to pre-purchase their child’s lunch for $6.00 per day (only offered at camps held at the Parade Grounds). Fresh food is being provided by Windsor Farms Market in Windsor Terrace and will be delivered to the field each day between 11:30 and 12:00. Lunch items include your choice of sandwich (three options per week, including a vegetarian option), chips/pretzels, fruit (apple/banana/orange) and a cookie. Your selections for the week will need to be made and paid for by 12:00pm on the Sunday before the start of camp on Monday. Steps for ordering lunch:

Only orders that have been prepaid will be made and delivered. While none of the items have nuts, Windsor Farms is not a nut-free environment.
We still encourage that you send an additional snack or two with your child to camp.
How does the Referrals work?
The referral system was created to encourage the idea of players tagging along to PSU Soccer Summer Camp with all their best friends regardless of soccer level.
The process of referring someone is pretty basic - - Send an email to introducing the potential new camper. If the referral meets the criteria below, then a $50 credit will be allotted to the individual who referred the new camper.
The criteria are;
The person who you are referring must have no prior participation in any PSU Program.
You must introduce the new camper via email (firstname.lastname@example.org)
The new camper has to be ages 3-13.
