Kayla started playing soccer at age 6. She played for a travel team in Florida called Plantation Eagles. After graduating high school, Kayla went on to become a college athlete at LIU Brooklyn. She has a very big soccer oriented family. Her uncle played for the Trinidad and Tobago national team, so she got a lot of tips and coaching from him along with her father.
Kayla has worked with children for 9 years. She was a camp counselor for ages 4-14 for 2 year, nannied for over 3 years, and has coached in clinics for sports training for 4 years.
