Josh Pratt took his first steps in life carrying a soccer ball, and the love affair has not ended since.
Pratt grew up in London, England and was trained on the technical dutch Coerver coaching method. From 11-18 he played for Hampton School in which time he competed in the Gothia Cup. Pratt moved to America in 2012 and briefly played soccer at Vassar College before an ACL injury ended his playing career. Post-injury Pratt founded a supporters club for Vassar’s soccer teams, filling the games with chants imported from England.
Pratt has been coaching youth soccer since moving to America, and loves helping kids develop as thinking players and empowered people.
Pratt’s second passion is filmmaking; his media experience includes working for Jimmy Kimmel Live for 3 years, and on the 90th Oscars as a Field Associate Producer. Pratt is thrilled to combine his passions for PSU, as a Head Coach and Video Content Creator.
